Stephanie Dobson
Hello! I'm Stephanie Dobson (she/her). I was born in Oregon, grew up in Idaho, and currently reside in Washington. So, needless to say, the Pacific Northwest has my heart. My main art form is Photography but I love learning new forms and try to dabble in a little bit of everything. My inspiration focuses mostly on nature but I enjoy learning and applying my education in any way I can.
My interest in photography started in high school after taking a film photography course. Something about being in the dark room and watching the images come to life in front of me stuck. After getting a degree in philosophy, my husband gave me my first digital camera. The photos became a way for me to hold onto my small outings. They were little flash backs to the adventures I took that day. The digital camera only furthered my love for photography, which prompted me to go back to school and further my education in visual arts. I received a BFA in Visual Studies with a photography emphasis from Boise State University in 2022 and a BA in Philosophy with minors in Pre-Law, Psychology, and Natural Sciences from The College of Idaho in 2016.
